Gyan Yoga is a series of poses practiced in rooms heated to increase range of motion in the joints and strengthen the body. Standing, sitting and lying-down poses are practiced, provides a cardiovascular workout balanced. It improves your respiratory system with an ancient breathing technique. Today, most people realize the positive effects of yoga. Yoga is used to treat stress and depression. According to the great sage, Patanjali, "Yoga chitta VRITTI Nirodha", which means "yoga is to control the mind, emotions and moods that arise in our minds." Maybe you've witnessed a negative thought or mood which creates tension in your body. Bring frustration, pain or anger often leads to stress and depression. While practicing Hot Yoga, students are taught to hold the body in certain positions, called asanas or yoga poses. Also these particular forms of yoga require you to keep your body moving constantly between each pose, so as a result you are doing a more strenuous cardiovascular workout which is then helping to improve core strength.
